Pedestrian bridge 't Groentje Nijmegen

In 2013, a connecting bridge called ’t Groentje (the green one) was placed in Lent (near Nijmegen). Due to expansion work in the vicinity, there was a need for a temporary shortening of the existing bridge and a temporary connection for pedestrians, cyclists and mopeds. Janson Bridging provided a temporary solution to create a connection from ground level to the existing bridge ’t Groentje.

The temporary bicycle bridge consists of 3 bridge elements of the JSK450 Balkbrug model. The railing of the existing bicycle bridge was removed for connection with the temporary bridge.
During installation, traffic was closed, but city buses had to be taken into account; the bus service could not be interrupted.
